Paper weight is measured in Grammes per Square Metre (gsm). Below is a rough guide to paper weights:
Notes
Please note that coated paper types are usually thinner than equivalent uncoated paper weights.
Our recommendations for standard leaflets printed both sides: on uncoated paper: 100gsm on coated (e.g. glossy paper): 150gsm Paper & Board Thickness
Paper and Board can also measured by thickness.
Thickness is usually measured in microns. 1,000 microns = 1mm. |
